Continue to bless our Catholic Schools.  May our students share their faith with all those they meet. 
May our classrooms be filled with learning, encouragement, and the gift of Your Holy Spirit. 
May Catholic education grow, so Your good news can be taught to children around the world.  Amen.

Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,

IMPORTANT NOTES:
OLA had an amazing day at the pool on Saturday!  The team took home first place against almost exclusively big schools. 

Congratulations to the OLA Cross Country teams on their meet results this past Saturday. The Crescents came in 3rd of 7 in varsity, 2nd of 4 in junior high, and got the sportsmanship award.

Millsaps will be on campus during second lunch on Tuesday to meet with Seniors and Juniors regarding admission and scholarship opportunities. Please grab your lunch and meet in the lab for this important information session. If you have applied or are planning to apply, please make every effort to attend on Tuesday

Louisiana Flooding
Please drop off your donations at the Hancock Resource Center, 308 Highway 90.

Junior Class Service Project
The Junior Class is collecting items or monetary donations for Children’s Hospital of New Orleans.  Jars & boxes are set up on a table by the front office.  All donations are due by October 1st.
  
ACT Prep Course
Openings are still available for Mr. Gemelli's ACT Prep Course beginning Sept. 5 - 8 from 6:00 - 8:00. Please see the flier in the Announcements Window for more information.
Wednesday, 8/31, First Progress Reports Posted, Students who receive an "F" in any subject will be ineligible for athletic/club/school activities for three weeks until next positing of progress reports No exceptions.
FIRST PTO MEETING 8/31 @ 6 P.M. -- One Lucky parent will win free lunch for September for their daughter.  All daughters will receive a free cafeteria cookie for parental attendance at PTO.

Wednesday, 8/31 will be a Faculty In-Service – Late Take-In ScheduleStudents will report to school at 9:50 a.m.

Junior Class Toy Drive
Do something Great, Donate!  The Junior Class is hosting a toy drive for Children’s Hospital in New Orleans.  Bring in toys for babies through teenagers; or you can donate money.  Please bring your toy or money to your class sponsor.  All donations are due by October 1st.  Check out the flyers for more details.

Swim Meet
The AquaMoons took to the pool last night for the first meet of the season.  It was a great night for the team as they won the Tri-meet with the following score:

SSC also had a great night taking home first as well.

A big shout-out to all of the fans who showed up to support our swimmers.  Your enthusiasm was awesome!  Way to go Crescents!!
