OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS
Monday, October 31, 2016

Good Morning OLA!  Today is Monday, October 31, 2016.  Please stand for prayer.

Morning Offering – Starting today, we will focus on the gift of MERCY throughout November at OLA.  Each day we will read an attribute about Mercy and a Mercy Prayer.  We will also do activities in your classroom that focus on Mercy.

Those with the gift of mercy have a great ability to feel the joy or distress of another person or a group. They have a heightened sense of discernment regarding emotions. They rarely have to ask, "How are you doing?" They intuitively sense how another person is doing emotionally. Those with a gift of mercy desire to see those who are hurting alleviated of their hurt.

Sister Catherine McCauley's Mercy Consecration Prayer, as we pray:
O compassionate Jesus, look on me today with tenderness and give me the grace to walk on the path of mercy marked out for those who follow you. May all I do today reflect your merciful love. Amen.

Please remain standing for the Pledge:
I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which is stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
