Morning Offering:  Special Intentions:  We pray for Hunter Grimes who was in a car accident last night.  Hunter has a shoulder injury and is pretty sore.  We pray for Hunter to have a quick recovery!

Winter Formal
OLA student council invites you to the futuristic themed dance on Saturday, February 18th from7-10 p.m. at the OLG Community Center. Dress is semi-formal. Please buy tickets from student council members for $10. If you choose to buy at the door, tickets will be $15. We hope to see you there! It'll be out of this world!

Cruisin’ with the Crescents!!! 
It's that time again and we need your help!   We are starting to collect for the Theme Raffle Baskets.  This year the themes are as follows:
7th Grade:      Day on the Water
8th Grade:      A Day at the Spa
9th Grade:      Family Move Night
10th Grade:    All I Make for Dinner is a Reservation
11th Grade:    Everything Man Basket
12th Grade:    Living La Vida Local (Local Shopping)

Students attending Mass respectfully wearing their OLA uniforms (oxford shirts) will receive the opportunity to attend an off campus lunch.  This Sunday’s area Masses are as follows:  Holy Trinity 11:00; St. Charles 9:00; St. Clare 11:00; St. Thomas 6:00; Most Holy Family 9:30; St. Augustine Seminary 9:00.  Each of these Masses will have a designated faculty member in attendance.  Please stop by the office and sign up if you plan to attend one of these Masses dressed in approved OLA uniform.

Mass Day TODAY.   No sweatshirts or athletic jackets are allowed in the church, uniform sweaters only.  

LATE CHECK-IN DAY – Tomorrow, January 25th
TOMORROW, OLA will have a Faculty meeting from 7:40 until 9:40.  The building will be open at 8:00 a.m. for all non-driving students.  Upon arriving on campus, all students must report to the Commons, please enter through the Courtyard as the Front Doors will be locked.  Students will not be allowed to leave the Commons to retrieve items from their lockers.  Once students are on campus, they will not be allowed to leave to walk to Mockingbird or other locations.  Parent may drop off their child at other locations and students can walk to school for 9:40.

Just a reminder….. Part of the fun of this annual event is that girls are allowed only 2 weeks to prepare.  This would include any pre-planning or meetings.  If any group is planning or meeting prior to the 2 weeks preceding the intramurals, this would be grounds for disqualification.

LATE CHECK-IN DAY – Wednesday, January 25th
OLA will have a Faculty meeting from 7:40 until 9:40 on Wednesday, January 25th.  The building will be open at 8:00 a.m. for all non-driving students.  Upon arriving on campus, all students must report to the Commons.  Students will not be allowed to leave the Commons to retrieve items from their lockers.  Parents Volunteers are needed and appreciated from 7:40 until 9:40.   
Please remember, once students are on campus, they will not be allowed to leave to walk to Mockingbird or other locations.  Parent may drop off their child at other locations and students can walk to school for 9:40. 

PTO MEETING - Wednesday, January 25th

Reminder – PTO Meeting on Wednesday, January 25th at 6:00 p.m.  We will have an update on the State of the School and a drawing for a $300.00 Registration Fee for the 2017-2018 School Year.  If a Senior is selected, they will received Free Lunch for the Remainder of the School Year.  Also, students will receive a free cookie if their parent attends.

Morning Offering – Let us pray for safe travels for Kloe Campbell Lloyd and Madeline Samson who will be traveling to Washington DC to participate in the Presidential Inauguration.   We congratulate them on this great opportunity to be a part of our government in action.

Let us continue to pray for the success of the March for Life and for a better understanding of respect for life for all, as we pray Lord Help Us to Respect All Life
For the children who have died from abortion in our nation,
and for their mothers and fathers:
for mercy, peace and the loving embrace of Christ;

For those who have grown very old,
especially elderly parents and godparents:

March for Life students need to see Mrs. Mayer before your lunch today for some important paperwork.

Intramurals
Just a reminder….. Part of the fun of this annual event is that girls are allowed only 2 weeks to prepare.  This would include any pre-planning or meetings.  If any group is planning or meeting prior to the 2 weeks preceding the intramurals, this would be grounds for disqualification.

A set of keys were found in the gym last week.  Also, a bracelet was found.  Please see Mrs. Hinson to claim these items.
