Morning Offering – We offer our Special Prayers for Principal Cuevas’ mother who was taken to the hospital yesterday evening and is in ICU in very serious condition.

Lord Jesus, in you all healing is performed. You Lord are the miracle worker. In your Spirit, your gift of healing is alive. In you Lord we can put our trust that you can heal.  You, Lord are miracle worker for the sick.  You cleanse us and make us born again new. You give us a clean heart full of peace. You Lord are the Light.  You Lord are our medicine. Your Words Lord are Truth and Life.
Help us put our trust in You. You Lord are the greatest physician. You heal, You protect, You care, You love, You are kind, You are patient, You are thoughtful, You are strength. You Lord are our Creator. 
We honor you today and acknowledge your power and your authority. 
In Jesus' name we pray,
Hail Mary, full of grace.

The Pass Christian St. Patrick's Day Parade is inviting walking groups for their parade on Saturday March 11th.  Any club or group wishing to participate, please contact Mrs. Dawley at 228-731-2320Hanna Dailey has been selected as Colleen for their parade.

Congratulations to Hannah Dailey who has been selected as Colleen for the Pass Christian St. Patrick's Day Parade. The crew is inviting walking groups for this parade.  The Krewe of Blarney of  Pass Christian steps off at 1:00 on Saturday March 11, 2017 at City Hall, Pass Christian following a Toast by Pass Christian Mayor and more importantly a Blessing by Father Cuddy at 12:45.  I think it would be wonderful if any of the school departments or organizations would like to participate.  Please consider organizing your club representing OLA as a walking group.  Wearing “Green” is required along will some OLA School dress theme.  Please contact Mrs. Dawley at 228-731-2320.

Advanced Seminar will be playing a special Intramural Segment TODAY during the last 10 minutes of 8th period.  It will be played through the media room equipment, so all that will be required is turning your TV to channel 2.  An announcement will be made before the segment starts.  Thank you for allowing us to provide this entertainment.

Message from Ms. Bonnie
You will notice a few changes to the OLA Cafe Menu when you sign up for lunch today in homeroom:
·  Due to the observation of Lent by not eating meat on Fridays, Fridays are will no longer be Sub Sandwich days.  Instead, a full meatless entree will be served on Fridays during Lent.  
·  Salad Bar will also be available on Fridays, but will NOT be available on Mondays.
·  Beginning Monday March 13, sub sandwiches will be served on Mondays.


As a fundraiser for your OLA Cafe, Ms. Bonnie & Friends will be running a concession stand in The Commons tonight during Intermurals from 4:30 until 8:30.  The menu will include: Popcorn, Nachos, Corn Dogs, Jumbo Pickles, Chips, Candy, Brownies, and MORE!  With the exception of Nachos, all items will be $1 or LESS! Stop by and support your OLA Cafe!

Festivities start TOMORROW at 6pm.

Fire Department Visit
The Fire Department noted that students leaving the cafeteria did not have a “pass” in their hand.  As of today, any student leaving the cafeteria must have a written note from their teacher.


Anyone going to the Science Fair, meet today during the beginning of your lunch in the Biology Lab for important information.

We are one week away from the MAIN EVENT, so next week each grade will be given one hour in the gym to practice with musicPer principal Cuevas's request, the Juniors and Seniors will switch time slots for gym practice.   Juniors 5:45-6:45 Tuesday and 5:45-6:45 Wednesday for Seniors.

The OLA basketball season came to an end last night with a loss to East Marion. But Coach Halley was voted Coach of the Year for our district, and Morgan Ulrich and Alia Tayara were named to the All District Basketball Team. Congratulations Crescents we are proud of all of you.

Winter Formal (Grades 9 through 12)
Reminder to buy your Winter Formal Dance tickets from student council members, cost is $10.  If you choose to buy at the door, tickets will be $15.

We are collecting for the Raffle Baskets, themes are posted on the office window.  Please bring items to Ms. Chapman ASAP, she would like to have the baskets finished by TODAY
Cruisin T-Shirts will be available for order until Feb 20th (picture of t-shirt is posted on office window). The cost is $15 for short sleeve and $20 for long sleeve.  You will be able to wear the shirts on all Fridays in March and April.  Please see Ms. Chapman to order shirts or if you have any questions.  

Attention Seniors.  You must turn in the number of the senior picture you want in the yearbook and in the collage to Mrs. Bartels before Mardi Gras break, February 24.  After that, the photo company will choose your portrait. No exceptions.  If you just had your sitting, you must see Mrs. Bartels as soon as you get your proofs.

Teachers, during the last four minutes of 2nd period today, Advanced Seminar will be playing their latest film project.  It will be done through the media room equipment, so all it requires is turning your TV to channel 2.  An announcement will be made before viewing starts.  Thank you for allowing us to provide this entertainment!
