OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS
Wednesday, October 30, 2019

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Wednesday, October 30, 2019.  Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.

Let us offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 2:8-9 - It is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast.

Thoughts on today's verse:  The greatest gift we've ever received has nothing to do with our efforts. It is a gift from God. We didn't earn it, deserve it, or purchase it. God gave it through his sacrificial gift so our salvation would not be our boast, but his kindness.

Holy God, we can never thank you enough for sending Jesus and paying the debt for our sins. May we never take the cost of your gift lightly. Through Jesus we pray…

Hail Mary, full of grace. Our Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.  Amen

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Please remain standing for the Pledge:
I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which is stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS
Monday, October 21, 2019

Good Morning

Today is Monday, October 21, 2019.  Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.

Let us offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Galatians 6:2:  Carry each other's burdens and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

Thoughts on today's verse:  We feel so burdened ourselves, that sometimes we can't even see others' burdens. But Jesus reminds us that if we are to be like him, we will be the burden carriers. This is why he came, why he died, and why his resurrection is so important -- to lift from us the burdens of sin, death, and depravity.

Prayer:  Compassionate Father, help us to see and respond to the burdens in other lives around us. We want to be a blessing to the broken and discouraged, so please help us find our place and our way of serving to your glory.  In Jesus' name we pray.

OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS
Friday, October 18, 2019

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Friday, October 18, 2019.  Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.

Let us offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Psalms 27:14 - Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

Thoughts on today's verse:  If there is anything we don't like to do, it's wait. Maybe that is why God is so interested in us learning to do it! There is something purifying about remaining strong in tough times and remaining faithful when ill winds blow. So God gives us times of waiting to see if our search is really for him or merely for something new.

Loving Father, we know you have waited for us so many times -- for us to show our faith, repent our sins, grow in holiness, come to you in prayer, act more mature, give to those who cannot return our care... Help us as we wait for you to show us the way with our decisions, to meet our needs, and reveal your presence in our loneliness.  We really do seek you with all our hearts. Through Jesus we pray

Thursday, October 17, 2019

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Thursday, October 17, 2019.  Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.

Let us offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Dear God, We open the doors wide of our school and invite you in.  Please be in our lessons and help us to concentrate and learn.  Fill us with happiness as we discover more about the world.  Guide our creativity to express ourselves in art, music and movement.  Help us to share, care for and love one another.  Watch over us and protect us.  Please come and be a part of everything we do today.  As we pray:

Hail Mary, full of grace. Our Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.  Amen

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Please remain standing for the Pledge:
I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which is stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
