Monday’s lunch entrée’ is toasted grilled cheese sandwich, tomato basil soup, and “Ants on a Log.”

Welcome to our Science Fair Judges.  We appreciate your presence on our campus.  Students may be called out during their science classes to speak to the judges.

Congratulations to OLA Cafeteria and Ms. Bonnie for winning first place in the Five Alarm Chili Competition.  Students and Faculty will be served the award-winning chili for lunch today.   Be cautious of the sauce as it is fiery. 

Ladies, early dismissal notes need to be submitted prior to your first period class starts.  Anyone coming for early dismissal after the morning sign in will not be excused.

Campus Ministry Announcement:  Campus Ministry is hosting the Annual Baby Goods Drive for St. Gerard Women’s Center. Seventh and eighth graders should bring diapers and wipes.  Ninth and tenth students are being asked to bring bottles, pacifiers, bath supplies, and baby food; 11^th and 12^th students are being asked to bring baby clothes, baby blankets, socks and onsies.

Jr. Youth Leg meeting Monday in the computer lab.  Please bring your bill ideas and be ready to research.  The meeting will end at 4:30 so plan transportation accordingly.

Herf Jones will be back to take class ring orders on Tuesday, February 2 before school in the cafeteria.  Please bring a deposit of $60 at this time to order your ring.  Extra Class ring brochures for Juniors and Seniors can be picked up in the front office.

CAMPUS MINISTRY ANNOUNCEMENT: Campus Ministry is hosting the Annual Baby Goods Drive for St. Gerald Women’s Center in Bay St. Louis. 7^th and 8^th grade students are being asked to bring diapers and wipes; 9^th and 10^th grade students are being asked to bring bottles, pacifiers, bath supplies, and baby food; and 11^th and 12^th grade students are being asked to bring baby clothes, baby blankets,  socks, and onesies. Participating students wishing to attend the baby shower at the end of the month should give donated items to their class representative. Donations are sincerely appreciated.

JrYL CONFERENCE: Students in grades 7-9 interested in attending the JrYL Conference in April are scheduled to meet Tuesday, January 26, 2016, from 3:35 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the computer lab. (The meeting date of January 25^th had to be rescheduled.) Interested students are welcome to attend even if they missed the last meeting.

Lunch: Chef Armand Will Be Cooking Shrimp Creole tomorrow. Don’t miss out! Order your lunch in the morning. There will be several changes this week due to OLA Café’s participation in the Rotary Club Chili Cook-off:

Remember Domino’s Pizza Day Will Be on Thursday this week. With Ms. Chapman.

Ms. Bonnie will serve the Award Winning Chili on Friday. There will be no salad bar on Thursday or Friday.

Please consider attending the Chili Cook-off with your family to vote for our chili, The Cookoff will be held Thursday, January 28^th from 5-8 at the Community Center I the Depot District. Admission is $6.00 and includes all the chili you can eat.

SOFTBALL: Fast Pitch Softball tryouts will be held January 28^th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A sign-up sheet is located on Mr. Langham’s classroom door.
