Good Morning OLA! Today
is Tuesday, April 30, 2019.
Morning Offering and
Special Intentions:
Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are
in the presence of God.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Let
us offer our special intentions as we pray for Janna and those in need of our
prayers.
In Jesus name
we pray…
Our Father, Who art in
heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it
is in heaven. Give us this day our daily
bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against
us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Important Messages
Ticket Sales are heating up and the competition is fierce.
Remember
you must sell the Disney tickets to be eligible for Nike shorts and OLA t-shirt
day and any combo of tickets to reach 100.00 for 1/2 day at the beach.
The class that raises the most money will
get to spend the day at the pool with pizza lunch included.
Juniors & Seniors: Remember to purchase your Prom Tickets ASAP, see Ms. Ashley or
Ms. Chapman if you have any questions.
End of the year food
drive: April showers bring May “flours,” student
council is doing an end of the year food drive! Donate any non-perishable
foods, boxes located outside of Mrs. Cranford room.
OLG’s
Vacation Bible School will be July 15-19. Mrs. Kellie Munsch is looking for crew leaders who
can help each day from 8:30am-1:00pm. If you are interested in volunteering,
see Mrs. Corr to sign up. Spots are limited!
Lifeguard Training to be held in Diamondhead beginning May
11th, see office window for more details.
OLA This Week
Congratulations to the following OLA Tennis players who won
both their first and second round matches at the State Tennis Championships in
Jackson on Monday. Paige Palazzo, Claire Escher, and Isabel Wolf. They
are in today’s semi-finals. Great job ladies.
Athletic Physicals in the OLA gym on Thursday, from
12:00-4:00. This is for current 6th
graders attending OLA next year through current 11th graders, the cost is $15. Physical packets will be available starting today
and must be filled out completely and signed by parents before a physical will
be administered. Please see Mr.
Langham for a physical packet.
Mass
Just a reminder, Thursday is a School Mass at in the OLG
church (NOT SSC). Students are to wear their oxford shirts, school skirt,
and uniform shoes. As always, parents are invited to attend, Mass starts
at 10:00.
Service Hours – please see Ms. Patton before or after
school for the number of service hours completed.
JUNIORS, ring ceremony is next Tuesday. If you did not order your senior ring from
Herff Jones, please bring in your senior ring and drop off to the office ASAP.
SSC Library – Please check front office window for list of
students who still have books checked out.
All books must be returned before next Friday. If you need a book past next Friday for a
school assignment, please email or see Ms. Brannin.
Attention
Juniors and Seniors who are taking any AP exams: A pre-administration session will be held for
in Mrs. Fucich’s room for seniors today at 2nd lunch. Please grab your lunch
and immediately report to Mrs. Fucich’s room. Juniors will attend their
pre-administration session on Thursday at 2nd lunch.
Tomorrow, SENIORS may wear jeans (no holes or tears) with
their college shirt and closed back shoes (no slippers).
